Quick and comforting creamy spaghetti recipe made with butter, cream, and Parmesan. Rich, smooth, and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1–2 garlic cloves (minced)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of water.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
3. Add cream slowly and stir gently for 2–3 minutes.
4. Stir in Parmesan cheese a bit at a time until melted.
5. Add pasta to sauce. Mix until coated. Use pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh Parmesan for best results.
Add spinach, mushrooms, or cooked chicken for variation.
Reserve pasta water for a smooth, adjustable sauce.
